Spring 2013
Westford Academy Theater Arts presents Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet directed by Dr. Luke Jorgensen in the Westford Academy Performing Arts Center on April 25, 26, 27 and May 2, 3, 4 at 7:30 pm.
Dr. Jorgensen’s Romeo and Juliet is set in Belfast, Ireland in the mid-1980′s where tension between Catholics and Protestants is high and violence is commonplace. When the relationship between the children of two different houses is forbidden, the star-crossed lovers attempt to marry in secret.
