Westford Academy Performing Arts Department Programs 2013

The Westford Academy Theatre Arts Department will be presenting many different programs during 2012 -2013.  Mark your calendar and check back often on the list of programs.   All programs are presented in the WA Performing Arts Center  (PAC) or other locations at WA.

Spring 2013

R&JImage.jpgWestford Academy Theater Arts presents Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet directed by Dr. Luke Jorgensen in the Westford Academy Performing Arts Center on April 25, 26, 27 and May 2, 3, 4 at 7:30 pm.

Dr. Jorgensen’s Romeo and Juliet is set in Belfast, Ireland in the mid-1980′s where tension between Catholics and Protestants is high and violence is commonplace.  When the relationship between the children of two different houses is forbidden, the star-crossed lovers attempt to marry in secret.
